Delan Jinapriya MD, FRCSC is an ophthalmic surgeon who specializes in the diagnosis and surgical management of glaucoma and cataract surgery. An Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology, Dr. Jinapriya is actively involved in treating complicated glaucoma patients with state-of-the-art surgical techniques. An active teacher and mentor to numerous doctors in training, Dr. Jinapriya is actively involved in research, and has presented his work at the Canadian Ophthalmology Society, Association for Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO). Dr. Jinapriya belongs to many medical societies and associations, including the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, the Canadian Ophthalmology Society and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He completed his medical education at Queen's University, and the University of Toronto.

Office hours and location

Dr. Jinapriya specializes in Glaucoma and Cataract Surgery. If you are coming to see Dr. Jinapriya, please be accompanied by a friend or family member who can drive you to the appointment, as dilating drops are often used. Appointments may take 30 minutes to a couple hours as your visit may also include diagnostic tests.
